Maamor Jantan is a Malaysian artist known for his watercolour paintings of landscapes, village scenes, and everyday life. Born in 1961, he started his career as a machinist before working as a curator’s assistant and eventually pursuing art full-time. Jantan’s work is characterized by its vibrant colours and detailed depictions of rural Malaysian life. He is considered one of the most prominent contemporary Malaysian artists.
